Mark Whitehead, Chief Executive Officer of twofour54, is a seasoned international media leader who possesses a wealth of knowledge, vigorous business acumen and a vast experience in the media and entertainment industry.
With almost 30 years of international experience in productions, media, and content creation, Mark is responsible for leading twofour54 through a new chapter of growth and development.
Mark will help empower Yas Creative Hub to become the centre of the region’s creative industry, while also leading the delivery of major future infrastructure projects, including phase II of Yas Creative Hub and expansions of twofour54’s studio facilities. In addition, Mark is focused on the strategic direction and operations of twofour54, including its community offering at Yas Creative Hub, and twofour54’s production facilities and backlot.
Prior to joining twofour54, Mark was the President and Managing Director of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), Asia Pacific, where he achieved substantial business growth. Among other senior roles, Mark was also the Senior Vice President and General Manager of BBC Worldwide Southeast Asia, where he led the organization to several years of growth and expanded its footprint with multiple channel launches. He also previously held key roles at Discovery Networks Asia and CNN International.
