Alef Education, the global education technology, has become the latest addition to the 500-plus companies that make up twofour54’s thriving media ecosystem.
The UAE-based Edu-tech provider uses AI to extract and analyse data around each student’s strengths, allowing them to create a tailored education process for individual pupils, significantly enhancing the learning outcome.
The company’s new base at twofour54 will employ more than 300 staff.
H.E. Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Vice-Chair of twofour54, said: “Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence have the potential to change every aspect of our lives, from how we work to how we learn. This is particularly evident in content creation and in the way ‘Alef Education’ is using these technologies to innovate and create highly tailored educational content. We welcome ‘Alef’ to our twofour54 community as we drive together the growth of the regional content creation scene, and at the same time inspire future generations to embrace creativity and technology both in the UAE and globally”.
Alef Education was founded in 2015 with the aim of providing technology-enabled customised learning platforms in schools in the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Since the company was formed four years ago, it has transformed education for 50,000 children across the two countries.
Geoffrey Alphonso, CEO of Alef Education, said: “The ecosystem that twofour54 has created is second to none; it is a versatile environment that helps companies like us to grow and thrive. We look forward to collaborating with the many other twofour54 partners and freelancers that share our passion for innovation and education, unlocking the potential of the youth in the UAE and around the world.”
