In celebration of National Day through partnerships with local community organisations and charities
In observance of the UAE’s 44th National Day, twofour54 launched a campaign to celebrate the nation’s unity in purpose, values, and ambitions and to give back to the local community. Through the campaign, United4UAE, twofour54 pledges to devote 2,454 volunteer hours to community organisations and charities including “Emirates Red Crescent”, “Wanna Read” initiative, and “Special Care Center”.
Launched on November 26th, the campaign will be open for twofour54 staff, campus partners, and freelancers to participate. Participants can log their volunteer hours and share stories, images and videos of their experience on a dedicated microsite which will also be available for the public to view at www.united4uae.com.
twofour54’s COO, Maryam Al Mheiri, commented: “National Day is the best time to make a commitment towards giving back to our community in gratitude of what we have achieved year on year. The UAE enjoys a unique population of people from diverse cultures and nationalities that work in harmony. Our cohesion would be incomplete without giving back to those in need, and twofour54’s United4UAE campaign aims at instilling the values of gratefulness and appreciation of what we have and sharing it to help others.
“I encourage twofour54’s community to participate in our campaign and to support our mission of giving back 2,454 hours of community service. This is a valuable opportunity to support charities in their pursuit of building a strong and cohesive society that cares.” Al Mheiri added.
