twofour54’s business enabler awarded ISO 9001:2008
tawasol, the services division of twofour54, the commercial arm of the Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi, has achieved the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification. twofour54 tawasol is the business enabler that supports twofour54 to be the leading media and entertainment hub.
twofour54 tawasol offers a one-stop-shop facilitation service for its partners and individuals looking to operate from twofour54’s content creation campus. The new certification, which is valid for three years, was granted in recognition of tawasol’s management achievements in optimising quality standards and continuing to offer high-quality service to its customers, annual key events and the international productions that twofour54 has attracted.
Maryam al Mheiri, Chief Operating Officer of twofour54 said: “Being granted this prestigious certification is the culmination of years of hard work and is the result of the collective efforts and the commendable team spirit of our staff.
“Attaining the ISO 9001:2008 certification reinforces our commitment towards improving all aspects of our business in order to continue to achieve together even greater accomplishments in the future.”
The ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognised set of standards for quality management systems developed and published by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
The certification sets out a number of quality indicators, including customer orientation, executive management support, focus on process management and management systems and commitment to continual improvement that ensure a common sense approach to the management of all business activities.

As a single window services provider for organisations and individuals collaborating with twofour54 ranging from individuals, partners and international productions, tawasol’s dedicated team coordinates all federal procedures including permits, sponsorships, customs clearances, flights and visas for visiting production teams through all stages of their residency in Abu Dhabi.
tawasol also handles the logistics and coordination for twofour54’s key annual events including the Abu Dhabi Media Summit and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.
