Sameer Al Jaberi from Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC) talks about filming in Abu Dhabi during the morning session ‘What’s Hot in the Middle East’ that took place during this year’s MIPCOM in Cannes.
Al Jaberi emphasized the 30 per cent industry rebate offered by ADFC on all qualifying production spend in the Emirate and explained the eligibility, qualifications and process of the incentive.
Abu Dhabi has been immensely successful in attracting productions from all over the world. This year alone, twofour54 intaj has provided cutting-edge end-to-end production solutions alongside ADFC’s cash rebate for major productions such as ‘Star Wars Episode 7’, ‘Fast and Furious 7,’ Syrian TV drama ‘Al Ikhwa,’ and Bollywood thriller, ‘Baby’, which wrapped up filming last month.
