UAE Students equipped with specialised Media and Entertainment skills as part of ‘Our Special Summer’ initiative
twofour54 tadreeb, the region’s foremost media training academy, has participated in Abu Dhabi Education Council’s (ADEC) ‘hiwayaty’ program that offers specialized training courses to students between 29 June and 17 July 2014.
The ‘hiwayaty’ programme is part of ADEC’s ‘Our Special Summer’ initiative held across 83 centers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western region. As part of the programme, experts at twofour54’s tadreeb provided students 15 sessions of media and entertainment skills training over the three week period.
Over a 1,000 students benefitted from specialised courses in animation design, filmmaking and photography. The courses were custom designed by twofour54’s tadreeb to equip students with the skills required to establish a career in the media industry, contributing to strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a media and entertainment hub.
Participants learned practical and professional techniques in graphic design and digital arts including optimising the use of the iPad in content creation, camera skills, editing audio and video files, and the art of animating models and shapes made of mud.
Hiwayaty is part of ADEC’s initiative to equip students with specialised skills in etiquette and protocol, culinary arts, volunteer work and media. The program was held across ADEC’s training centers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Eastern Region.
