OSN launches Digital Fundamentals Training Programme

Tailored course from twofour54 tadreeb aims to upskill local experts in digital multi-platform engineering
OSN, the region’s leading pay TV network and twofour54 tadreeb have announced a two year partnership to offer a tailored Digital Fundamentals Training Programme to support expertise in digital multi-platform engineering and delivery in the UAE.
OSN is currently enhancing its services with the transition to high quality picture and audio broadcasting over digital multi-platforms. This Digital Fundamentals Training Programme has been especially tailored to upskill and support OSN engineers as the network undertakes these improvements. Six courses for 66 trainees will run throughout 2012-13, each with 25 training days. Training areas include; Generic DVB / Satellite broadcasting, Picture Grading, Waveform usage, Audio monitoring and management and Multi-platform media format management.

twofour54 tadreeb is the region’s premier vocational training academy and has been selected to deliver the OSN training course because of the highly relevant technology instruction it offers. The course will be delivered by twofour54 tadreeb’s partner, the BBC. It was this relationship with the BBC, together with its portfolio of technical courses, which meant that twofour54 tadreeb could deliver OSN’s very specific training requirements.
