twofour54 tadreeb hosts its first regional training programme in Oman

Tailored digital media training course specially developed for Muscat Press Agency

The region’s premier media training academy, twofour54 tadreeb, has held its first regional media industry skills training course in Oman, at Muscat Press Agency’s headquarters in Muscat.

The ‘Writing and Editing for Web’ training programme was specifically designed for the agency and was hosted by twofour54 tadreeb, in conjunction with expert instructors from the Thomson Foundation. Over the two week course, 30 journalists from Muscat Press Agency were trained in Arabic web writing skills, intended to help strengthen the agency’s growing online news offering.

Delivered on-site at the Muscat Press Agency premises, the vocational training programme was tailor-made by twofour54 to equip delegates with the practical and tangible skills required to produce high quality, vibrant online news content and enhance the six daily and weekly publications currently produced by the organisation.

twofour54 tadreeb provides international standard, bi-lingual training courses across a wide range of media disciplines, covering the full media spectrum including Television; Broadcast Technology; Journalism; Digital Media; Radio; Media Business and Production.  Plans are also in place to extend this offering to include Animation, Web Application and Design, Games Development and even Media Business courses as new training providers are identified.

The academy currently offers over 200 bi-lingual courses, all of which are outcome driven, practically-focused and of an international standard. Programmes are designed to add value, so that on completion, media professionals will immediately see improvements in their performance, which will ultimately have a positive impact on their company’s business.

Since the beginning of the year, twofour54 tadreeb has put more than 350 media professionals through nearly 30 courses, with 30% of those students coming from outside the UAE.
