Top Gear is a popular BBC television programme from the UK about motoring. It has been running since 1978 and is the world’s most watched factual television show. Top Gear filmed a show right here in Abu Dhabi. Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond conducted a review of the of the impressive 6×6 Mercedes AMG G-Wagon across a range of terrain, and in doing so showcased some of the amazing views of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The first of the segments filmed in the UAE, featuring a Porsche 918. Some of the locations are Yas Waterworld, Sheikh Hamad’s car museum, Liwa sand dunes, Abu Dhabi Corniche, Emirates Palace, Sheikh Zayed Tunnel, and the Emirate of Dubai, where they filmed the super luxurious Dubai police cars.
