In this role, Tony provides strategic leadership for the business to deliver on its mission of creating an ecosystem that will allow the content creation industry to flourish in the Middle East.

Tony has more than 35 years experience in the UK and international creative content industry. He is an academy award winning television director, channel executive and innovative programming expert. He has worked as a director with all of the major UK TV channels and many independent production companies during his career and he also headed Chrysalis Television Productions, part of the Chrysalis Group plc.

Tony joined the Abu Dhabi Media Zone Authority (twofour54) in December 2007, taking a key role in the Abu Dhabi Government's initiative to create a cultural hub for the Arab world and beyond, in Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining twofour54, Tony teamed up with the founders of Skype to launch Joost, the world's first broadcast-quality television platform on the Internet. He led the UK content team from the Joost UK London offices.

Previously, Tony was the Managing Director of MTV Networks International's comedy channels including Comedy Central. Tony created, developed and launched successful television channels in the UK, Spain, Italy, Poland and Germany.
