He commenced his career in the industry as an investment manager for the Australian Film Finance Corporation and held subsequent senior positions at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and FOXTEL.

During his time as senior advisor to the media & entertainment practice of Accenture in 2000, Phaedon has been involved in a range of learning and training initiatives.

He has been a key contributor to the newly established campus, Centre for Screen Business in addition to other engagements for the Australian Film Television & Radio School. His most recent role was as CEO of online learning start-up Redapple Education.

Phaedon's previous appointments include Sydney Film Festival board member, Sydney City Council cultural advisory committee, Tribe-First Rites advisory group, Film Queensland - industry advisory committee.

Phaedon's production credits include Cosi, My Mother Frank, Terra Nova, Right Here Right Now, Heartland, Ladies Please, Heavens Breath and House of Fun.
