Established in 1998 by CEO and Executive Producer Tim Smythe, Filmworks offers full production services for both regional and international commercials, corporate documentaries and content creation for feature films and television programming. Over the last decade the company has experienced continual growth and is proud to announce its new office in Abu Dhabi at twofour54.
Through its standards of excellence and expertise, Filmworks has attracted a consistent supply of clients and established itself as a leading production company in the region. Due to the ever growing number of TV channels in the Middle East, the company is now focusing on the creation of English and Arabic programming for the region. In terms of feature film, Filmworks has facilitated a number of Hollywood productions including Warner Brothers Syriana and Universal Studios’ The Kingdom.
Their most recent achievement is the tri-lingual feature film City of Life which was co-produced with AFM Films and was filmed entirely within the United Arab Emirates.
